Susan Shearer - is a psychiatrist. She is the daughter of Aunt Liz Matthews. The cousin of Russ, Pat and Alice. She is in town to help the family get over the death of Ivy Halloway, Rick and Marianne's daughter, who died in the Matthews' house and was found by Aunt Liz.
