Mar 6 - Constance had received a Voicemail from Cindy informing her that the role was ready waiting for her. She said that he had created a wonderful storyline for her, and thinks that he has a crush on the Queen! She also learns when she gets together with Cindy for drinks, that Iris needed them to keep Jasper and Dave in line. Constance has another missed call and it’s a message to let her know that Maggie has given birth to a baby girl! Constance decides that she is needed in San Diego for her. Her attention is diverted when she hears on the television that Rud Winslow and Heather Jessop were shot to death. Her heart immediately goes out to Alex in his time of need, but ultimately decides that she is needed more in San Diego, rationalizing that Alex has Sandy and Blaine, and Maggie no longer has a mother. Constance is heartbroken by the news of Rud’s death. She has Atheena pack her bags so she can take the private jet to San Diego with her bodyguard Dirk. She tells the driver that she need’s to stop by Alex’s place so she can drop off a note of condolences for Alex. She gets there and slides the note under the door, only for the door to be opened by Alex. Although a very brief visit, Constance gives Alex a hug to offer her support, and lets him know that she will be there for him if he needs her. She tells him she is heading to San Diego to see Maggie. Alex wants her to send his love. Constance assures him that she will, and takes off with Dirk in the limo to the airport, where she boards the jet, and has a drink while waiting for takeoff…
After not hearing from Kathleen for several months, Mary receives a phone call from her asking her to organize a family dinner on St. Patrick's Day. When Mary inquires about why, Kathleen is cryptic and says that she will explain everything at the dinner. Later, Vince worries that Mary is doing too much too soon when she decides to resume her volunteer work with "Meals on Wheels."The spirit of Alma Rudder possesses Heather once Sally returns to another world. She tries to get revenge on Blaine by attempting to kill Alex. Rud and Alma struggle for the gun and Rud is shot. Rud dies in Alex's arms as he sobs. Mac Cory tries to help Rud cross over but he refuses to go until he knows Alex will be okay. Mac says that Alex is connected to that world and that he can see him and hear him. It doesn't work at first and a frustrated Rud begs God for help. Alex cannot believe his eyes when he sees Rud standing there. He doesn't believe it and thinks it is another one of Alma's games. Rud is eventually able to convince Alex that he is who he says he is. On the set of ALO3, Dave is curious about the breakdown that Sergei has written for Constance Stone's character. He interrogates Sergei who tells him nothing. Later, Blaine comes to see him and tells him that Rud has died. She asks him to be there to comfort her devastated son and says that Alex loves him even though he hasn't said it. Dave wonders if he is capable of getting over his own pain and rebuilding his relationship with his best friend.
Ben met with Kathleen and Ian and got his plans for the baby's room approved. After, he learned the cancer is not spreading and the chemo is working. Ben shared the good news with his family and feels re-energized now. He also decided to ask MJ to sing at his and Justin's wedding and, after a strange visit from Scott, realized Scott knows about Karen.Justin was sad to learn from Eve his parents didn't ask her how he was doing and thrilled by Ben's test results. On campus, Justin told Ford to stay away or he'd get a restraining order against him. He also blames Kathleen for dragging MJ and Ben into this mess with Keller, fears the family dinner will end in disaster, and hopes the Karen secret doesn't ruin Scott and Cheryl's chances of reconciling.Kathleen phoned Mary to set up the St. Patrick's Day Dinner. This prompted Mary to ask Ben and Justin if they knew what was up with Kathleen but they lied and said they were clueless. Kathleen told Doug they needed to get the final evidence they need against Keller before the dinner and both wish her baby was Doug's and not Ian's. Later, Kathleen was touched by Adam's support and wondered if there was a chance the baby was Doug's after all.Scott remained angry at his family for keeping the secret about Karen and kept hearing Reginald telling him to punish Cheryl. He fears his anger may cause him to turn into Reginald. Despite all this, Scott agreed to attend the family dinner and made plans with Cheryl for the weekend. Hearing Sapna was awake, Scott hoped to finally meet with her and begin working on her case.MJ told Chad she couldn’t trust him after he admitted Higley had blackmailed him. Later, Chad told Adam about Higley’s notebooks he kept on everyone and that Byron was the key to finding Higley’s killer. After making love with Adam in his office, MJ ran into Chad and told him she believed he didn’t kill Higley.MJ was thrilled that Ben’s treatment was working but they were both concerned about the family dinner Kathleen wanted to have with Keller. Adam told MJ they needed to give Kathleen the benefit of the doubt and later he went to see Kathleen to assure her he would protect everyone at the dinner.Tony asked Byron about Higley’s notebooks but Byron denied their existence so Adam asked Henderson to find out if the BCPD knew about them. Tony’s news director told him that he needed to drop the Higley case and find a real story or he’d have to let him go. When Tony told Adam he was backing off the case, Adam—overwhelmed with work and reeling over the death of Heather Jessop—overreacted and accused Tony of only caring about himself. Tony also found opposition from Radhika who seemed to be pushing Tony away. Later, while drowning his sorrows at a bar, Tony felt like someone was watching him.After trying to convince Adam that Heather’s death was not his fault and after seeing how swamped he was with work, MJ decided to help Adam with his business. Neal took an excited Kenzie home for Spring Break and then made romantic plans with Cindy.Billy, Daniel, Cheryl, Karen, Vince and Mary watch the USA-Canada hockey game together. Afterwards, Billy and Daniel play a game of NCAA Football 2010 while Mary prepares dinner. Billy says grace before dinner and they all eat and have great conversation. Billy confesses to Mary that he knows Kathleen's secrets but can't tell her because it's Kathleen's responsibility. Mary says he's a McKinnon kid now, keeping secrets from her and Vince. Billy also tells Mary about Kenzie dancing with Phil Higley at Chad and Cecile's wedding and that they were both creeped out by him and that whoever killed him deserves a medal, not a jail sentence. Mary tells Billy and Cheryl about Kathleen's dinner on St. Patrick's Day. Billy says he'll be there to see the shit hit the fan. Knowing how stressed Mary is, Billy surprises her with a bubble bath. Billy is excited for Spring Break. He can't wait to see Kenzie. Billy goes to the Keller Estate to see Kathleen. he gets creeped out when he sees one of his paintings hanging up in the hallway. He goes to Kathleen's room and she tells him to leave before Ian comes in and finds him. Ian Keller finds Billy in Kathleen's room and has his minions take Billy to a room and tie him to the bed and strip him down and he holds him captive. Daniel comes looking for Billy and he and Mary get worried and call the police and MJ and Adam.Scott saves him and takes him back to Mary's Place, where he tells Mary he kidnapped Billy and is sorry. Mary accepts his apology.
Lenore has been busy raising money for Dana Kramer's run for State Representative. Lenore just got back from Ogden and Somerset where they opened up offices.Lenore and Pat did some shopping and had fun together.
Alone in Auditorium, in Sarasota, Alex realizes he may have made a mistake choosing Rud over Dave. Larry tells Blaine he has gun and that he saw someone suspicious enter the auditorium. Dennis talks to Sally in Heather’s body briefly and realizes that she is fading fast. Catlin shows up and they bring her to the Auditorium with Jerimi for the switch. Peter Love shows up and demands to know why Molly kept the truth from him about Catlin being Jerimi’s father. Sally tries to calm him and Curtis shows up with a gun. When he is jumped, the gun goes off and it accidentally hits Peter who is taken away by Molly. Blaine and Dennis realize Alex is too weak for the soul switch when he begins to sway. Rud tells Black Bear that he can do it. During the switch, Almas spirit takes over Heather’s body. She picks up Curtis’s gun (who was knocked out) and accidentally shoots and kills Rud. Alex confronts her and she shoots to kill, but Larry shoots her dead. That means Heather is now dead as well and Dennis is a mad man. Later at the morgue, Dennis doesn’t acknowledge Alex and Alex and Blaine go to see Catlin at the beach. Catlin tells them that he plans to stay in Sarasota to get to know Jerimi. On the day Heather died, Maggie and Henry had their little girl, Cecile Heather. Dr. Camilla Grove starts to act funny during her session with Marianne when she starts to talk about her father John Randolph. Her secretary says she has visitor who ends up being her sister Doris. She, Sandy and Susan Shearer take Olive (Dr. Grove) to a mental institution. Marianne is devastated that her psychiatrist was the woman who killed her father years ago. Back in Bay City, Blaine talks to Dave and asks him to see Al, saying that Al really needs him as a friend after Rud’s death.
Mar 13 - The man who was following Tony revealed himself as an employee at Bayview Sanitarium. He told Tony that Alan Glaser, the Sin Stalker, wanted to tell Tony his story. Before Tony could do anything about it, Radhika called to tell him that Sapna was awake and he rushed to her side. After he and Radhika worked things out, Tony visited Glaser, who told him that he wanted to tell his story to Tony while he still remembered it. He told Tony that he knew how much the interview could be worth and if he didn’t give him an answer about doing it soon he would ask someone else. Tony wavered on what he should do, but faced with JJ firing him, he told JJ he had the interview. JJ planned to make a huge deal out of it and Tony’s friend, Jeff, worried about what they were getting into.Adam had a nightmare where Nancy, Kathleen and others asked for his help and he couldn’t do anything. After, Adam cautioned Nancy about going back into the tunnels. Kenzie asked MJ who Nancy was but before she could get all of her answers, MJ got word that Sapna was awake. When Radhika said that Sapna didn’t remember anything after her time at UT and that the doctors didn’t think the memory loss was because of the accident, Adam was convinced that someone did something to her. And he blamed himself.Adam threw a fit when Josh went back into the tunnels with Nancy’s son, Chris, and took him off the job. When Kenzie tried to defend Josh, Adam snapped at her. But he later apologized to her and Josh and put Josh back on the job. At Mary’s Place, Justin mentioned Maisie and Kenzie noticed that it upset her dad and concerned her grandmother. That night, Adam had a new nightmare in which Maisie and Quinn, both victims of the Sin Stalker, told Adam he didn’t protect them.Later, on edge from the nightmare and lack of sleep, Adam responded to an intruder by preparing to hit them with a statue; but he stopped in his tracks when he realized the intruder was Kenzie. Kenzie was upset and turned to the Internet to investigate what was happening to her dad. Adam finally told MJ about the nightmares and she vowed to help him. The next day, Adam apologized to Kenzie and promised to deal with everything; but MJ broke down to Mary and wondered what could be done to help.
Kathleen learned the baby was Doug's and not Ian's. She told Doug who was thrilled and took steps to make sure Ian wouldn't find out. Now looking forward to being a mother, Kathleen was more determined than ever to get the final evidence she needs against Ian to put him behind bars.Feeling sick, Scott cancelled his plans with Cheryl and later called her and left a message saying he knows about Karen. He hopes they can talk it out and he will be able to forgive her. After a call from Sean, Scott worried Sean was in big trouble and wondered why he had kept quiet about the night of Higley's murder.Ben reached out to Alex and Dennis after hearing of Rud and Heather's deaths. Eve told him Charles was having a change of heart about Ben and Justin being together but Patty was keeping Charles from calling him and Jutin. Ben wondered if there was anything he could do to help Charles and Justin reconcile.Justin was concerned over not hearing from Doug but Doug called to say he was busy with a story. While he feels bad for what Alex and Dennis are going through, Justin's grateful he won't be going through the same thingsince Ben's going to be okay. Although thrilled that Ford's finally leaving him alone, he still doesn't understand how Ford got the idea Justin was interested in him. Mary told Justin having Vince constantly keep an eye on her to make sure she's taking it easy is starting to get on her nerves. Justin and Ben remained concerned about the hospital bills that keep coming in but ended up solving their money problems by winning the Illinois State Lottery.
Lenore attended the funeral for Heather. She talked to Nancy about seeing some of her relatives in Somerset. Lenore is working with Sam Lucas and his wife Lahoma who left Bay City many years ago to live in Somerset. She alsotalked to Pat about Sam and how he is Rachel Cory's Uncle being Ada's brother. They discussed how he had spent time in the pen but turned his life around but Pat wondered if it made sense for someone like Dana who is a Law and Order candidate to have an excon in charge of the Somerest office. They also talked about how he had dated Pat's stepdaughter Lee and flirted with her at one time.
Vince and Mary give Billy a Rolex watch for his 15th Birthday. Mary also says they will be throwing him a party.When Vince asks Billy how he likes being 15, Billy responds by saying he'd rather be 16. Cheryl and Karen eat lunch with Vince and Mary. Afterwards, Cheryl sticks around and hangs out with Billy and they play video games. Billy hangs out with Kenzie and tells her all about Alan Glaser, The Sin Stalker, and all the people he killed....and tried to kill. He tells her not to stress out and that Adam can take care of himself. Kenzie thanks him for telling her the truth. Karen helps Vince and Mary set up for Billy's party. The Matthews and McKinnon clans were there and all had a good time. While visiting Maisie Watkins’ grave, Adam ran into Lucy, Maisie’s sister, who told him that she didn’t blame him for Maisie’s death. When Lucy told Adam that Mary called her, he was surprised that Mary would do that for him and went to Mary’s Place to thank her. Afterward he went home and apologized to MJ for his behavior and told her what Mary had done. With Adam finally able to sleep, MJ went to Mary’s Place and thanked her mother for her help and assured Neal and Kenzie that everything was okay.
Sandy comforts Blaine when she returns and talks about her fear of losing Sandy. Clarice comforts Larry who is upset about killing Heather/Alma. Alex is visited by Rud who tells him that he must move on and that he knew Al was in love with Dave. Blaine calls Alex from San Diego where she and Sandy are visiting Maggie and the new baby. She is please when she hears that Dave has answered the phone and is with Al. Dave gets Al out of the house and takes him to the studio. Rud’s mother Desiree shows up and blames Al for Rud’s death.
Mar 20 - Tony interviewed Glaser but he and his photographer, Jeff, were both creeped out by how matter of fact he was about his crimes. Tony considered giving Adam a heads-up about the interview but decided against it.After Kathleen nailed Keller at the St. Patrick’s Day dinner at Mary’s Place, Adam congratulated her on the baby and the two hugged. MJ was concerned that with the rest of her family so happy that she and Adam might be headed for trouble. He assured her that they had had all the trouble they were going to for a while. But later on TV, a promo for Tony’s interview with Alan Glaser aired and Adam stormed off to confront Tony.Adam railed at Tony for making Glaser’s victims’ families relive everything, but Tony defended his story. Later Tony told Radhika that Adam was right, but she convinced him that he could give the story the sensitivity it needed. However, JJ, Tony’s news director, re-edited the story to include the gory details Tony left out. Tony was furious, but there was nothing he could do. After watching the interview, Adam was convinced Glaser was talking to someone through it and MJ vowed she would not go down the same road with Adam that she did before. Nancy blasted Tony for doing the interview but before he could tell her about the re-edit, JJ called and asked him to go cover a murder.Larry arrived at the murder scene to find a possible copycat of the Sin Stalker. But when he gave Adam the note the killer left at the scene, Adam told him the killer had to be connected to Glaser. When Adam saw the note was addressed to him, he told MJ he had no choice but to go see Glaser, which caused MJ to have a panic attack.
Scott was unable to take Sean's case as he's already representing Sapna and tried his best to ignore Reginald's voice urging him to punish Cheryl. Before the family dinner started, Scott and Cheryl agreed to forget about Karen for the night and put on a happy face for the family. Later on, Scott told Ben he knows about Karen. Ben explained why he didn't tell Scott about her himself and encouraged Scott to give Cheryl a chance to tell her side of the story. Kathleen recalled agreeing to marry Ian after he threatened to harm Kenzie, Karen, Bridget, or Michelle if she refused. At the family dinner, Kathleen exposed Ian's dirty deeds with Doug's help. As the police hauled Ian away he swore he'd be back for his child. Kathleen then informed Ian he wasn't the father-Doug was. After the dinner, Kathleen and Doug agreed to take things one day at a time until she gets her divorce and Ian's trial is over. Now free to live her life, Kathleen fired Mona and made lunch plans with Felicia. Still riding the high from their lottery win, Ben and Justin were surprised to get a call from Charles. Charles said he misses them, has changed his mind about their relationship, and wants to repair his relationship with them. Later, Charles admitted that Patty has still not changed her mind about Ben and Justin's relationship and that he may leave her if she can't accept Ben and Justin being together. After the family dinner, Doug apologized to Ben and Justin for lying to them. Doug also told Ben he was only dating Lindsay as a cover so no one would susupect anything between him and Kathleen admitting that Lindsay had been helping him and Kathleen over the past few months. Later on, Mary told Ben she suspected something might be wrong between Adam and MJ and Ben promised to call MJ and make sure everything was okay.
Billy thanks Vince and Mary for the Birthday party they threw for him. Vince is mad at MJ for not being there. When MJ shows up at the house to talk to Billy, Vince tells her she should be ashamed of herself for not showing up at the party. MJ apologizes to Billy for not being there. Billy tells her she, Adam and Kenzie should have been there for Mom and Pops. Billy tells her he wants them to get along, but can't do it alone and wonders why MJ can't accept him as her brother when everyone else has. After lecturing MJ, Billy goes to his room and smokes a joint. After the family meeting on St. Patrick's Day, Kathleen tells Billy that she's sorry she hasn't been there for him and that will change. She wants to spend some time together, getting to know her little brother. MJ tells Billy that he was right. She, Adam and Kenzie should have been at the party and she does love him and wants them to get along. MJ also said she would like to spend some time with Billy, just the two of them.. Billy said he would like that too. Cheryl comes over and asks Billy how he's doing. He says "Great. This could be a new start for all of us...as a family".
At the Bay City police station, Sean met with Scott LaSalle. Scott told Sean it would be a conflict of interest for Scott to be Sean's lawyer since Scott was already representing Sapna.=A0 Sean asked Scott for help finding another lawyer. Scott agreed and advised Sean to wait for a lawyer. Sean decided not to wait because he wanted the police to know what happened with Sapna and Phil Higley. Sean told Josie the story of how Sapna became pregnant with Higley's baby after she slept with Higley because Higley consoled her one night on Higley's movie set when Sapna was upset that Pedro might risk his life by giving a lot of bone marrow. Sean also related how he and Sapna met with Phil Higley at a deserted part of the Serenity compound the night Higley died, after Higley had found out about Sapna's pregnancy somehow, perhaps through a source at the hospital, and had called and visited Sapna. Higley pled with Sapna and Sean to accept that he was trying to change for the better, and that he was trying to control extremist Elders at Serenity who were really responsible for many of the things he was being blamed for like shootings. Higley asked Sapna to let him be part of their baby's life. Sapna and Sean did not believe what Higley said. Sapna shrugged off a hug from Higley, which is how her hair ended up in his hand. Sapna left the meeting with Higley seconds before Sean, but Sean lied to Josie and told Josie Sean had left first because he didn't want to be idenitified as possibly the last person to see Higley alive. Josie planned to follow up with Sean, but did not hold him, so Sean made it to Kathleen's family gathering. Sean felt bad about his lie to Josie later and vowed to return to the police station to correct the record, as well as to inform the police about the fake Ricky's whereabouts. He hoped the police would understand.
Desiree makes a spectacle out of herself at Rud’s funeral. Although, Dennis didn’t give Al a chance to speak about Rud, Dave speaks up and makes him go to the altar. Alex talks about his friend and says goodbye. He is upset to see that Dennis left. Dave asks Al to come to his place to stay with him because of all the memories of Rud at his old place. Henry visits Rud’s headstone when he and Maggie return from San Diego. Dave makes fun of Al when he does his Tai Chi video. The get close to kissing, but Dave pulls away to go to work. Having fun together, Al and Dave have a “cheesiest song war” and then dance together to a romantic song. Blaine and Sandy tell Al that he needs to tell Dave how he feels. Al goes back to their place and Dave and he declare their love. Dave brings Al to the studio and Brianna tells him that she slept with Dave. Later, Al meets with Amanda who offers him a position in the London office. He accepts. Dave is completely upset and blames himself when Al leaves him to go to London.
