Stacey wins a large settle from the city for an appreciative Ralph regarding his beating and rape during the summer. Ralph says he feels something cold from another world. Stacey realizes they can do some good together. Ben worries about the stomach pains he has and gets upset when Justin says he should be fighting his cancer not doing the wedding guest list. Justin comforts him and Ben wonders why Kathleen married Ian Keller. Adam talks to Ben about the renewed vows with MJ. He worries about his brother-n-law. Alex unties his parents and finds out why Alma had them trapped. His grandmother tells him to take the knapsack with the rag doll in it. Alex’s grandparents take him to a mansion where they say he can find out about Jake. Instead they are surprised to meet Sally Frame Ewing. Stacey tells Morgan not to worry about Alex Cory. Neal senses a hint of jealousy in Cindy’s voice regarding MJ again. He tries to make her feel better by making love to her. At the Keller estate, Ian makes sure Kathleen is comfortable and asks her to tell her whole family about them. Ian wants to have a family dinner together which upsets Kathleen. Curtis knows that Keller had Olive move Kit to a mental institution and thinks she will soon disappear if Keller has his way. Curtis gets angry with her when she won’t commit to killing Keller. He wants Heather and his daughter, Sydney, back. Rick Halloway contacts her to ask if she’ll see Alex as a psychiatrist. Chad worries about Cecile after her miscarriage. He sees Kathleen going off with Keller. Cameron tells Jeanne that he wants to marry her right away out of town. She tells him she wants to try and find Sofia’s daughter, Raven first. He agrees to work together to find Raven, but wants to marry in some exotic location after. Olivia has a fight with Rose and thinks the wedding will be off. Joey reassures her it will happen and it won’t be the last fight she has with his mother. After making love, Cameron gets down on his knees and gives Jeanne a 24 carat diamond ring, asking her to marry him. David and Olivia spend time together before the wedding. Olivia and Sarah have a fight when she tries to tell Sarah that Tom is her brother. Byron talks to Olivia the night before the wedding and realizes he’s in love with her. Dennis helps Sergei get ready for Julies Funeral. He admits to himself that he’s jealous that Olivia is getting married first. Ben says he’ll hold off on calling Kathleen about her marriage to Ian Keller. Olivia goes over who’s attending the wedding. Ben gets a phone call from his mom and decides to put that conversation aside for now. Byron emails info about a Serenity member that kept a child hidden to Jeanne Ewing, so he isn’t the one to get Serenity in trouble again. Mary McKinnon asks Ben to call her. She wishes her children could tell her the truth. Doug is upset about Kathleen being married to Keller not telling anyone. Dennis and Tom have a snowball fight. Cheryl is distraught when Mary shows up at the hospital and talks to her about telling Scott the truth. She starts to question whether she can tell Scott it’s all over. Jasper gives his father Ted a check so he can leave town again. Mary has a heart to heart with Cheryl. Sergei feels better with the other children in the hospital after he walks by Julie’s old room. Billy tells Vince and Mary that he thinks MJ hates his guts. Olivia checks out the casino for the wedding. Luke tells David that he knows he has feelings for Alex. David asks him to the wedding as a friend. Luke worries about this meaning he’s coming out to everyone. Neal feels torn about his decision to put his wife Cindy before his brother’s new wedding to MJ. In another world, Alex and Wallingford talk to Sally in the gardens by the mansion. She asks Alex if he can help her by asking Heather if she can inhabit her body for a period of time on the other side to show Catlin something. Alex agrees to help and David Thatcher appears asking why they are visiting. Alex tells him that they are looking for Jake. David tells Wally and Alex that he can take them to Jake. At home MJ is surprised when a limo shows up and Kenzie is inside. Rick recommends a psychiatrist for Alex to Blaine and Sandy. He tells them that Dr. Camilla Grove is going to meet with him. Alone, Rick thinks about his family members he has lost to death and his daughter, Ivy. In front of the church, Adam asks MJ to marry him again. Olivia hopes her dad’s guest is not Iris Cory. Scott thinks she has changed and thinks his family is lying to him. Sarah shows up to help Olivia get dressed for her wedding. While getting his Tux on, Joey is visited by his sister Angie Perrini and his daughter Kate. When they all leave he has a surprise visitor, Curtis Gordon, who tells Joey that Kit is still alive. Joey, not knowing who he is, orders him out and Curtis escapes. Adam and MJ get married with Ben there walking MJ down the aisle. Joey and Olivia say their vows. At the reception, Luke tells Jeanne and Cameron that he’s gay. At the cathedral, Lenore thinks about her wedding to Walter and Alice meeting Steve Frame for the first time. Chris enjoys time with Linda Pierce on the dance floor and is glad that Ernestina and Ezra are having a good time. Tom tells Aaron he loves him. Byron gets Susan Shearer’s card at the bar when he finds out she’s a psychiatrist. Olivia wants to spend time with her mother Liv at the wedding. Aaron talks to Byron about his dad, Phil. Jasper finds Alex’s personnel files and finds out HR had asked Alex to set up his employee John Stonemetz so they could fire him. Sergei plans to go to Julie Anderson’s service. Adam goes with Kenzie to find a new ring for MJ and runs into Karen who is upset about Jasper taking over at Cory. Billy tells Kathleen, Cheryl and Ben that he plans to tell Vince and Mary that Cheryl is picking Ricky and that Karen is their granddaughter. He also tells Kathleen that he knows she’s married to Keller and that Ben has cancer. MJ is shocked to find out that Kathleen is leaving her room and is leaving with her husband, Dr. Ian Keller. Alex and Wallingford enter the gate after Alex gets burned and Wally heals him. The approach a charming little house and enter to find a woman making a soup in a kettle. Alex asks her if she knows where Jake McKinnon is. She tries to get Alex to eat the soup. But when he looks into the bowl he sees the image of his mother, Blaine and an evil woman trying to drive her crazy. Wallingford realizes that the woman is Alma Rudder. She had tried to kill and drive Blaine Ewing crazy and was killed accidently in a struggle with a knife by Alex’s grandmother, Jeanne Ewing. When she tried to come after Alex when he doesn’t eat the soup, Alex throws the hot soup in her face. She shrivels up into a rag doll. Wallingford and Alex hear noises in a closet and find Alex’s grandparents, Fred and Jeanne Ewing there. MJ comforts Chad at the hospital when she finds out Cecile lost the baby. Billy tells Mary and Vince the truth about Cheryl and Ricky and their daughter, Karen Flatt. MJ tells Adam about Kathleen. He wonders how many more secrets the family can have. Lenore talks to Dave about his past with all the women in Bay City, which she learned from Clarice.Dec. 28, 2009
Adam is pretty upset about the condoms. Billy apologizes to Adam and MJ about the condoms. In the hospital, Dave kisses Alex and he likes it. Dave has to leave and Alex touches his amulet, bring him back to another world where Wallingford has been waiting. Justin talks to Ben about telling his family about his cancer. Ben thinks about his talk with Alex about Jake and Vicky and has stomach pains that worry him. Billy tells Vince and Mary that he knows who Cheryl has picked. He says he’s screwed up because he caused his mother’s death. MJ who seems worried visits Ben. Dave is on cloud nine after telling Alex he loves him. He even treats Jasper nice on the set of the soap opera. Ben tells MJ about his cancer. He asks her not to tell anyone yet. Stacey gets a visit from Megan who tells her that Alex is on the other side helping someone and dealing with those who have escaped the dark side of the other world. Billy wonders if he should tell Vince and Mary the truth about Cheryl leaving Scott and Karen being their granddaughter. Henderson tells Adam about Sapna being in jail for Higley’s murder. Neal talks to his friend about doing something nice for Cindy who was upset with him during the holidays. Jasper and Dave have their first dramatic scene together. Adam tells Kenzie that he’s going to ask MJ to marry him again. MJ returns home in tears and tells Adam that Ben has cancer. Cecile loses her baby when she falls down the stairs. Billy gives Kenzie, a 12 year-old, condoms because he thinks her friend TJ is her boyfriend. Kenzie tells hims she’s too young to have sex. Billy shows her his new art studio. Dennis talks to Sarah about attending her mother, Olivia’s, wedding. Cameron tells Luke that he doesn’t blame him for what his mother did. Dave visits Alex in the hospital and tells him he loves him. Ricky agrees to have Billy attend a religious school. Lenore is sad about little Julie’s death. Cecile spends a wonderful Christmas with Chad and family. She has a doctors visit Dec. 27. Dennis make a Christmas toast at Iris’ place. Ben contacts a lawyer because of his surgery and makes out his guest list for the wedding. He meets with Cheryl to ask her to be in the wedding and talks to her about Scott. Mary asks Justin if there is something wrong with Ben. Byron upsets Tom when he decides to go to Serenity for the rest of Christmas day. Stacey and Morgan’s mother wonders if Byron can have sex if he is in a wheelchair. Stacey tells her that Morgan kissed Ralph. Iris gives Tom a Ferrari for Christmas. Joey was disappointed when Iris gave Tom the car because that was going to be his and Olivia’s gift. Dave has his first rehearsal with Jasper as his characters brother on the soap opera. In AW, Alex follows Wallingford towards the gate only to see a crowd surrounding the Town Hall. Alex is shocked to see his grandfather, Mac Cory, with Janice and the new mayor of Bay City – Jason Frame. Alex wakes from his trance and his mom and dad, Blaine and Sandy, give him a Shaman’s amulet, that a Native American friend gave them when he was boy in San Francisco. He goes back to AW and realizes that something dark has taken over Bay City since Mac has married Janice Frame. He goes towards the gate to find Jake. On the other side, Sally scares a lonely Phil Higley. He says he will help her try to communicate with Catlin to lead him to the rest of her diary. He says that she can inhabit the body of someone on a different plane if they are open and willing – someone that is close to her. Sally thinks that person is Heather. She leaves Phil alone and goes to talk to someone that can help her. Lenore misses Olivia’s brunch because Liv is sick. Billy sees everyone on Christmas. He looks forward to showing his art studio to Kenzie. Dennis wonders why Iris would give Tom such an expensive car. Giorgio and Abby have dinner at Tops. Susan and Alice are there. Giorgio watches as Susan gasps when she is delivered an envelope. Sergei is there when little Julia Anderson dies. Ted blackmails his son Jasper for money to tie him over, saying he will tell Tom that Jasper knows Dennis is his dad. Cameron gets Riley back. Chris drives Linda to BC and thinks he’s falling for her. At church, Chris sees Jake who asks him to find Vicky. Cameron and Jeanne are ecstatic about seeing Riley. Chris and Linda visit Ezra who knows things about Linda. Chris asks Ezra if he can find Vicky. He kisses Linda goodbye at the end of the day and feelings linger.Dec. 23 & 24, 2009
MJ invites Neal Cory and his wife, Cindy, to Christmas at the McKinnon’s. His wife Cindy isn’t too happy about it. Sergei spends time with little who is dying, Julie Anderson, at the hospital, showing her the Christmas tree. Dennis drops presents off to the Cory’s and asks about Sarah. While Alex is out because of his accident, Amanda offers a position as head of the illustration department to Jasper, until Alex gets back. Ben believes it will be a great Christmas. Giorgio goes to the Matthews house and frightens Pat who opens the back door. Aditya comes out of the surgery. Pedro wakes up at the hospital and Sapna Iis arrested for Phil Higley’s murder. Toni Burrell tells Sean that she doesn’t think either Sapna or Sofia killed Higley. Billy gets visits from Sarah and Josie at the hospital. Millie is lonely for Giogio in St. Tropez. Kenzie meets Karen when everyone starts to arrive for Christmas. MJ gives Sean a gift that was given to her by Jake. She sings. Adam thinks Kathleen is hiding something. The family goes to see the movies MJ sang for. Kenzie is able to stay in school in Chicago. Tom is freaked out when Aaron give him a car for Christmas. Cameron goes up in front of the judge to get back his son, Riley. Olivia feels bad when she has to cancel Christmas brunch with Tom because of Sarah not knowing he’s her brother. Within a trance, Alex enters a tunnel system and another world again. He meets a dwarf named Wallingford who takes him to Smiley’s diner to talk about getting Jake, who has entered the gate into the darkness. At the diner, Alex meets a nice waitress named Maisie Watkins and the owner, Perry Hutchins. Julia Shearer shows up and Perry, Julia and Wallingford take Alex upstairs to introduce him to Vicky McKinnon. It seems they have helped her escape Reginald Love and his hidden room in the Love mansion. However, Vicky has a witch after her in the form of – Justine Duvalier. They decide that it’s better if Vicky stays put and Alex goes with Wallingford to find Jake – beyond the gate. Before Christmas Dennis visits Louis, The McKinnons, Billy and Sergei. Dennis tells Sergei he can stay in his penthouse as his roommate. Luke’s dad asks him to come for Christmas. Dave spends time with Russ and Levi. Ben feels bad for Scott about seeing so happy with Cheryl. MJ tells Ben that she thinks Cheryl will pick Ricky. Cameron makes his case to the judge to get Riley back. Ben decides to wait to tell his family that he has cancer. Jasper thinks he’s going to be a great boss now that he has Alex’s old office. Giorgio accepts a dinner date with Abby and plans to frame all his old family photos. Sergei misses his family in Russia for the holidays. Billy returns home to a wheelchair accessible home. Stacey talks about Cass and Frankie’s beautiful wedding. Daniel asks Tiffany to marry him. Billy goes to church. Aditya and Pedro are in the hospital for Aditya’s surgery. Anish and Sapna are trapped by snow at the cabin. Sean talks to Maya and Lily at the hospital about Pedro. Lily talks about her motherly feelings towards Pedro. Sarah cancels her lunch date with Dennis. Russ gives Olivia a family ring for Joey. Olivia feels like she has been in a fairy tale with Joey. Alex asks Sergei to bring him to Ezra’s room where Alex meets Ezra in person for the first time. Ezra tells Alex that his spirit guide told him that he would meet Alex. He also tells Alex that there are spirits on the other side who need his help soon. Giorgio asks Abby out for dinner. At the Frame farm, Sharlene brings Catlin a sandwich in the barn. He shows her Sally’s diary and talks to her about not being able to shake that she didn’t die. Sharlene talks to him about moving on, but then remembers when everyone thought she died in an explosion but took on a different personality. Catlin believes there is more to Sally’s story. Sharlene tells Catlin that she will support him in whatever he decides to do. Giorgio goes into the hidden room and finds a box with a passport in Irene’s name and one for a boy. He plans his revenge which he says is soon. Dennis ends up not able to tell Heather about his relationship with Dennis because Pat falls down the stairs. Jasper and Dave go head to head when Dave shows up for his audition and the casting director gives him the part. Aaron and Tom talk about sex and Aaron says he loves him. Chris is glad Linda Pierce is heading back to Chicago in the new year. He has a disturbing dream about his friend Jake McKinnon who tells him to help him find Vicky and that his son Ezra can help. Lenore is upset that her gift for Wally will be late. Billy wishes Kathleen and Scott a Merry Christmas in the hospital. Byron asks Phil on the other side to tell him where Raven is so he can reunite Sofia with her. Jasper rants to Iris about Dave Matthews getting hired. Ben tells Justin that he just wants his family to have a wonderful Christmas. Ben and Justin go to the doctor and he tells Ben that he has cancer in one of his testicles which will have to be removed. The surrounding lymph nodes will be removed as well and he will have to undergo radiation/chemotherapy. There is also a possibility that he may lose the other testicle, so the doctor recommends that Ben give sperm so that he could have children someday. Justin and Ben don’t tell the family yet. Ben talks to his assistant Lindsay and asks her to come for dinner but not asks her not to say anything to the family about his past relationship with Alex. Adam talks to MJ about having everyone home for a McKinnon Christmas. MJ worries about it being uncomfortable with Scott who still knows nothing about Cheryl and Ricky. Adam is disappointed with Sapna going through her “open marriage”. In the hidden room, Dennis accidently finds more photos. They are of Irene, a man named Ansel and a baby named Judson. He tells Susan who tells Dennis more about Irene’s daughter Jane. Dennis gets nervous about his date with Heather. Tyrone visits Byron to ask him about making a statement about Jeanne’s involvement in Serenity House. Byron goes to his meditation room and thinks about Phil. He wishes he could be on a journey with him on the other side, but his son Tom ties him to this life. Alex talks to his parents about seeing ‘Dead People’. Later, Ezra appears in his room and Alex looks into his eyes. He sees Vicky McKinnon and she shows him the moment when she talked to Jake and Molly before she crossed over. She wanted them to know her babies with Jake were alive. Vicky told Jake she would be okay, but right after she was taken by Reginal Love to his mansion – a prisoner. She is trapped in a hidden room there and can’t escape. Alex Is jolted out of the vision with Ezra’s eyes. Alex asks him questions, but Ezra says he can only guide Alex. He tells Alex that his is a seer and someone who can visit other worlds. Ezra says he will teach Alex to transition into the other worlds. Jasper tries to get Rud’s attention at his apartment and finally succeeds. Sergei talks to Anish about getting time off on the soap. He worries again about little Julies failing health at the hospital. Russ fits Billy for a wheelchair. Kenzie gets a kiss from TJ after exchanging Christmas presents. Dave checks out an ad for open casting call for the soap “A life of Our Own.” He decides he will audition. Lenore and Dave are Chicago picking up Liv (Olivia’s mother Olivia).Dec. 20, 2009
Constance says she will be going back to Bay City for the holidays while the king’s secret agents investigate Brittany Peterson. Constance thinks she may have the king because of a grudge she has against her from years before. When she was a gay man in Claxton, Kyle Baker, Brittany outted her in the town. Catlin was nice to Kyle and didn’t care about his sexuality. Kyle decided to get back and Brittany and drugged Catlin with sleeping pills, putting him in bed and jumping in next to him to make it look like they’d slept together. The plan worked and Brittany found them together and left the house furious. That was years ago and Constance left and never returned. Stacey visits Alex and she tells him that her and Ralph visited him. She talks to him about her experience with the other side and tells him she thinks he’s a connection between different worlds. After Alex’s visit with Stacey, he thinks about his visit to the burned, black boy’s room. When Dr. Rick Halloway comes in to check on him, Alex realizes that Ezra, the boy, is Rick’s son when he sees Ivy’s spirit next to Rick. Alex asks Rick if he can meet Ezra who is in the burn center of the hospital. Rick, Blaine and Sandy are surprised that Alex asked about Ezra. Jeanne feels guilty about Emily trying to take Riley away from Cameron. She goes to visit Emily and tells her she will leave Cameron if Emily would stop trying to take Riley away from him. Olivia is upset when Joey won’t show her a secret file he was looking at. She persists and finds out he’s hired Michael McDonald, the singer, to sing at their wedding. Joey insists that he is not in the mafia again. Cameron convinces Jeanne not to leave and says they will stand up to Emily together. Billy introduces Karen to her brother, Daniel. Karen tells Daniel about her boyfriend, Gordy Fisby. Daniel tells her about his girlfriend, soon to be fiancé, Tiffany. Karen asks him if he’s too young to get married. Levi meets Karen. Roy contacts Ricky about the work on his house. Olivia asks Sergei to play at the wedding. Sean describes Sapna and Anish’s Hindu wedding at the BC Bombay restaurant banquet hall. Byron talks to Alyssa Keller Higley about the money being disbursed among the Serenity members for housing. Byron is irritated with her attitude towards his friend, her dead husband, Phil. He later goes to the hospital to talk to Billy who is wheelchair bound like himself. Byron plays cards with him and explains how he can do just about anything in a wheelchair.Dec. 19, 2009
MJ introduces Ricky to Karen Flatt, his daughter. In the hospital, Ben visits Alex. Alex asks him about his cousin Jake McKinnon and specifically Vicky McKinnon. Ben tells him that Vicky is very much dead. Later, Alex feels like he leaves his body and goes to the door of the burned boy, Ezra Halloway. While lying in her hospital bed, Kathleen thinks about how complicated things are and then gets a visitor. It’s Dr. Ian Keller and he puts a wedding ring on Kathleen’s hand. She wonders how she will explain she’s his wife. Cheryl talks to Ricky about telling Scott the truth. Billy tells Cheryl that she can’t promise him anything, especially when she could die. She tells him that she can only promise that she will always love him. Cheryl brings Karen in to meet Billy who is ecstatic to meet his sister. Billy apologizes to MJ and Kenzie for being angry with MJ for thinking she was keeping his sister away from his family. Cameron and Jeanne talk to Tyrone about the chances of losing Riley. Sapna plans to continue with the plans to marry Anish and have it be an open wedding. Sean thinks he’ll be at the wedding. Stacey goes to the hospital and talks to Blaine and Sandy about Alex. Aditya shows up at Sean’s door. Aaron finds comfort with Tom when they have sex and tells him he loves him. Tom does not return the sentiment, but Aaron hopes he will soon. Julie tells Sergie that she loves him when he visits her. Dennis is distressed over all that’s been going on and Alex talking about Jody just adds to it. He takes Abby out for Indian food and sees Sapna with her mother. They exit out the back of the restaurant. Ben has his examination and the doctor tells him that he will run tests. Ben has a sinking feeling there’s a problem. Jasper has dinner made for Rud. Justin writes letter to his parents tell them they need to accept Ben because he plans to marry him. Giorgio has dinner with Susan Shearer and she says he reminds her of an old college student of Bill Matthews. Billy tells his dad that he should go see Daniels game. Tic and Iris go out to dinner and he spies on Giorgio. MJ asks Karen to come to McKinnon’ for Christmas. Dante and Amber visit Billy in the hospital. Billy says he’s upset that MJ and Adam haven’t told him and his dad about his sister. Dante contacts MJ and tells her how Billy feels.Dec. 17, 2009
Sean finds out Adam and MJ brought Cheryl, Ricky, Scott and Kathleen back safely. Ben finds a lump on his testicles and makes a doctor’s appointment. He decides not to tell anyone. Kathleen is pleased to see Ben and she tells him to tell Scott about Justin. Ben notices feelings between Kathleen and Dr. Halloway. Justin worries about his parent’s reaction when they find out everything that’s happened. Alex gets a visit from Dennis and another man. Alex asks why Dennis isn’t introducing the other man and realizes the other man is a spirit. Alex tells Dennis that Jody, the spirit, has a message for him. When Alex and Dennis touch the two burst into tears and Dennis is left shocked. Alex is wondering what has happened to him. Social Services put a court order on Serenity house and all the families must move out. Chris has a video conference with Byron and members to tell them that they must find new homes because Serenity House has been found not safe for children. Byron tells everyone that he will help them financially to find new homes. Luke can’t believe what his mother is doing. Sean wonders why Sapna’s mom wants to remain anonymous in Bay City. Billy wakes up and can’t feel his legs. He asks Aaron and Erin to be friend with him when they visit him in the hospital. Luke confronts him mother at home about taking Riley away from Cameron. He tells her he can’t be there are home with her anymore. Kenzie talks to her uncle Neal about possibly staying in Chicago with them. MJ thinks of enlisting Justin and Ben’s help to make Karen feel more like part of the family. Tom goes on a ride with Jasper. Lenore is excited about Dr. Delaney coming for Christmas and Olivia and Joey’s marriage.Dec. 16, 2009
Byron speaks with Stacey and finds out she’s been on her own spiritual path. He tries to meditate because of what happened after Phil’s death and Walter Trask and the 3 people that died. He wonders if he can straighten out the mess at Serenity. In AW, Ada and Jake take Alex to Cory publishing. He is emotional when he meets his grandfather for the first time. Mac tells Alex that he needs to forgive and go back to his world. Alex and Jake have a tearful goodbye. Jake wishes Alex could remain and help him find Vicky, his wife who he is separated from. Megan gives Stacey a song to describe her and tells her that her mother, Claudia, does care about her. Gary gets MJ’s statement and asks her why she left the force. MJ wonders what would have happened if she had stayed. Alex wakes up with Sandy and Blaine in the room. Dave can’t believe Alex is awake and talks to him. Alex says something about Ivy, but Dave says they can talk later when Alex is better. Byron makes sure that Phils private rooms remain locked. Chris gets upset with him and Byron realizes he knows little about his friend’s life. Byron touches Phil’s picture and misses him. Billy visits Kathleen in the hospital and tells her he’s going to Serenity house to find his sister if the family won’t tell him about her. MJ and Adam make love after talking about when she left Bay City years ago when Adam found out she was a prostitute. Adam goes to Cory Publishing to give Karen an envelope with the details of her parents, Cheryl and Ricky. Adam introduces Karen to MJ. Stacey talks to her mother about being visited by Mark and Megan. She tells her that she knows her mother had Mark take the rap for something and that she was responsible for Mark and Megan’s deaths. She and her mother bond after years of an estranged relationship. Justin is glad everyone is back and alive. He wonders what will happen between Doug and Kathleen. He chose Ben over his family. MJ shows Karen a picture of Kathleen and Karen knew her as sister Kate at Serenity House. MJ explains what happened and introduces Cheryl to Karen. They cry and hug eachother – mother and daughter. Billy goes to Serenity house and meets Erin and her brother Aaron. Later Billy walks out of Erin’s room and sees the judge that let the fake Scott out. His people there shoot Billy. Billy ends up at the hospital. Ricky finds out that Billy has been shot. Byron handles the Kellerman and the others who caused the shooting. Tom find out about Billy’s shooting. Olivia is getting ready for her wedding with Joey. Sapna is upset with Sean because he didn’t tell her about Anish’s sexuality. Her mom, Radhika Patel, shows up and knew Jake McKinnon. She was a tv journalist and Sean admired her. Sapna tells her mom the wedding it soff. Radhika thinks it’s because of Sean. Sean tells her that he is in love with Sapna and wants to marry her someday, so that Sapna doesn’t have to out Anish and tell her mom that’s she’s pregnant with Phil Higley’s child.Dec. 15, 2009
Alex meets Ada Hobson in Another World and she tries to convince him the he needs to go back. She finally decides there is only one person who can convince Alex. She tells him she will take him to meet that person. Rick thinks about his sister Kit in Alex’s room and then his other sister, Amy shows up at his office. MJ and Adam find out where Walter Trask is holding Cheryl, Ricky, Scott and Kathleen hostage. MJ finds Chery, Ricky and Scott in the basement, but Joyce (Cheryl look-a-like) comes after her. MJ locks Joyce in the basement and Cheryl and Ricky try to get Scott out of the house. Meanwhile, Adam goes to find Kathleen but runs into Terry (Scott look-a-like). He ends up stabbing Terry killing him. Terry ends up being Claudia Thorn’s son. She sees Adam has killed her son and tries to kill Adam with a gun. MJ shoots her just in time. Upstair they hear music and find Walter Trask holding Kathleen with a knife to her throat. Walter is shot and Gary and the police show up. Kathleen and Adam, and Scott are taken to the hospital. Dave has a dream about Alex by the beach and tells him he loves him. Billy worried that Cheryl will go back to Scott and leaves him alone again.Dec. 14, 2009
Ben celebrated Justin’s birthday. In Another World, Jake tries to stop Alex from walking into the pond, but it’s too late. He meets Ivy who wants to play. She asks Alex to be the King and she is the Queen in her fantasy world. They walk through the trees until they reach a clearing. She is terrified when she sees a man at the edge of the clearing. Alex wants to save her from him, but Michael Hudson appears as a knight on a horse and tells Alex he needs to go back to his world. Ivy pleads with him to stay and ask him if he will stay forever and Alex says yes. In the hospital, Rick tells Blaine and Sandy that there were complications with Alex’s condition and Dr. Keller needed to operate again. He tells Sandy its experimental procedure and that they will need to prepare themselves if Alex doesn’t pull through. There is a possibility that Alex may be brain dead. Sandy thinks about his dad Mac and asks him for help. Byron talks to Tom about wearing condoms. Tom feels like he’s getting his dad back. Kenzie and TJ kiss at the dance. Kenzie wonders if she wants to go back to BC at all. Ralph and Stacey sneak around the hospital. Stacey tells Ralph that she needs to talk to Alex, so she finds a nurse and orderly uniform so they can disguise themselves. In Alex’s room, Stacey talks to Alex about embracing the ones he meets on the other side. Morgan catches his sister in disguise. Olivia panics about her wedding plans but it blissfully happy. Adam finds out from Henderson that judge let the fake Scott LaSalle out of jail. MJ manages to get information out of the judge who has a Serenity Medal. He mentions that he did a favor for one of the elders - Walter Trask . Stacey and Byron talk and have sex. Aaron obsesses on Tom and his feelings for him. Dave decides he wants to be a better man and quits the club. Dave tells Luke about quitting and they ago out. Cecile thinks about her pregnancy and wonders if she deserves to be a mother again. Because Ralph is upset about Alex’s condition, Morgan reassures him that Alex is in good hands. Sean talks to Sapna about Phil’s death and asks her if he can go to the funeral with her. Sean wonders when Aditya will be back. At the hospital cafeteria, Stacey talks to Ralph about her accident and her experience on the other side. She wonders if Alex could be experiencing what she and Ralph had. Blaine, Sandy and Dennis stand around Alex who is not waking up. In AW, Alex is rescued by Aunt Liz who pulls him out of the darkness. She takes him to the Matthews house where Jim and Mary Matthews are hosting party. Steve Frame is there and makes a toast about family & friends and their every lasting love. Alex starts to have a sensation in his head again and Jake takes him back to the pond. But, Alex hears Ivy’s voice calling him from with the pond, so he steps into it. In the hospital, Dennis visits the chape and talks to god about Alex. He is visited by Chris Campbell. Rud talks to Henry about Fox Winslow and tells Henry that he is will Jasper to protect Alex. He also tell him that Trixie’s daughter, Baylee, isn’t his after all but is Fox’s. Cheryl and Ricky are escorted out of the cell by Claudia and an albino man. They are led through catacombs beneath Bay City to a room where there are Serenity Elders. One man appears and pushes Kathleen to Cheryl. The man asks where his daughter is. Ben tells Justin that he told his parents not to call anymore after Justin gets upset with them. Susan and Pat get a visit from their neighbor Chester Blank. He asks about the Alex’s accident and if it was one of their family members. He says the neighborhood is going to reinstate a watch. Tic tells Millie that Iris and Giorgio are not having an affair. He finds out Claudia Winthrop is in town. Daniel takes Billy to the Bears game. He tells him he plans to ask Tiffany to marry him. Sergei spends time with Julie in the hospital. He thinks about someday having children. Byron talks about Phil Higley’s funeral. Chuck Gordon/Charles Ringle’s son, Eric, is there. Dave and Rud butt heads at the hospital again. Dave finds out there is not a change in Alex’s condition. He talks to Alex’s father Sandy about his feelings for Alex. Jasper goes to see Rud at the hospital. He tells him he no intentions of moving in with him but he thinks he’s a better choice for Rud than Alex. Giorgio visits Iris. He tells her that he’s in town for business and that Claudia Winthrop is across the street. Chris gets the willies from the people at Serenity. Joey and Olivia plan a New Years Eve wedding. Aaron Higley talks about Byrons eulogy his father’s memorial service. After the funeral, Tom sleeps with Aaron after he realizes he’s attracted to him. In Another World, Alex walks through the gate and finds himself on a swing set with Jake. He is shown a tree with the names Vicky & Jake carved on it. Jake tells him that Vicky was his wife and he lost her. Out of the flames of a vision of plane crash, John Randolph emerges in a black cloak. John touches Alex’s forehead and he has a vision of Olive Randolph killing John in a fire. Alex realizes that that John is bound to the darkness beyond the gate. There are devilish figures including Tom Baxter and Lefty Burns who want John to keep Alex with them. Lee Randolph appears and pleads with her father, John, to let Alex go. Alex finds the gate and screams to get out as the dark figures surround him. He becomes weaker. In the hospital, Blaine wonders how much longer they have to wait to find out about Alex. Dr. Keller appears ands says that Alex is stable but the next 24 hours is critical. Sandy and Larry talk about Fox and Maggie overhears them. Daniel tells Mary and Vince the reason why his family left San Diego and why Billy blames himself for his mother’s death. Aaron Higley talks to Tom about watching gay movies. Byron tries to meditate and get messages from Phil. He realizes he can’t trust anyone now that he has taken over Serenity. Dave can’t believe how much he has fallen for Alex as he visits him in the hospital. Luke visits the hospital and tells Dave that Riley is in state custody. The state comes and takes Riley away from Cam and Jeanne. Jeanne blames herself for being involved with Serenity House. Morgan wonders about Alex’s attack and the others against gay men in BC. He visits Alex’s family in the hospital. Dante feels trapped at home on Saturday night. Karen tells Adam that her adoptive parents, Terry and Joyce Gray were psychopaths. They got involved in Serenity. She changed her name and escaped from them. She pleads with Adam not to tell anyone about her and he agrees. Billy visits the hospital and goes home to Mary’s place to get ready for the dance. Dennis voices his concern to Heather about living at the Matthews house. Justin’s parents try to call him but upset him again. MJ feels guilty about going to Chicago to be with Kenzie. Mary breaks down while she is putting Christmas ornaments up. Ben calls Justins parents to tell them to stop calling and upsetting Justin. Neals wife Cindy gets upset when MJ shows up for Kenzies dance. Dante makes out with his girlfriend and Nico sees it. Billy thanks Mary and Vince for being there for him. Dennis can’t seem to make love to Heather. Susan calls Heather to tell her about Alex’s accident. Dennis and She rush to the hospital. Rick tells Sandy and Blaine that Dr. Ian Keller will be performing Alex’s emergency brain surgery. In Another World, Jake takes Alex to the town hall where he meets Brian Bancroft. Brian touches Alex and lets him see the pain that his grandchildren, Jasper and Brianna, have been through. Brian asks Alex if he could help them. He warns Alex not to go beyond the gate at the end of the street. With Jake beside him, Alex decides to open the gate doors and walks in. Dead, Phil is trapped in Serenity House alone. He hears Sally Frames voice and finds her with him. She needs his help. She tells him that she didn’t die in the car crash, but died later and continued another diary. She wants Phil to help her get the diary to Catlin. Kathleen is brought to a dark room with screens on the walls showing pictures of her. Walter Trask, a man that was obsessed with Felicia Gallant and institutionalized years ago, comes out of the dark and reveals himself to her. Dennis gets uncontrollably upset when he finds out Keller is operating on Alex. While Rud and Jasper are in bed, Dave Matthews shows up at his door demanding to know why Rud isn’t at the hospital with Alex. Morgan takes Miranda on a Harley ride. At the hospital, Rud and Dave fight over Alex. Olivia and Joey are at the hospital and get a glowing report on their baby’s first trimester. She comforts Dave at the hospital and later worries about how the death of Phil Higley will affect her and Joey. Giorgio is caught by Claudia Winthrop as he sneaks into the hidden room. He tries to get her to forget about it by showing her his decorated apartment. Anish talks to Sergei about want to quit the soap because he is getting married. Byron asks Chris to be his partner at Serenity House and confronts him about seeing Higley the night he was killed. Paulina and Joe get upset at Byron, but Byron vows to get Raven, Sofia’s daughter, back to the family. Dante visits Sofia in jail and tells her he will look out for Raven. Lenore and Dave plan to meet Dr. Olivia in her town for Christmas. Justin is upset because he feels like his family wants him to choose between them and Ben. Justin father asks to speak to Justin, but Ben tells him that Justin doesn’t want to speak to his parents. Later, MJ tells Ben that Cheryl, Scott and Ricky have been replaced. Ben doesn’t plan to tell Justin’s parents because they already fear for Justin’s safety. Billy visits Alex in the hospital. Levi tells Dave that he thinks it’s cool that he has feelings for Alex. Ralph hears about Alex while he is at the Harbor Club. Adam goes to visit Alex and mentions Scott’s tattoo with Terry on it to Larry Ewing. Karen over hears and drops her coffee. Giorgio and Tic get into a verbal match at Tops and Giorgio gets the last word in. Dennis shows an apartment to Doug Miller and they both see Justin’s mother running out of the building angry. Dennis goes to Cory to get Alex, who is depressed and they work out. Tom and Byron talk. He tells his son that he loved Phil and his message, but he wants he and Tom to work out their differences. Tom isn’t so sure about his father yet. A woman from Child Protection Services investigates Cameron and tells him that everything is okay, but that she will have to talk to Emily Jacobs as well. Justin wishes Ben hadn’t slipped about the wedding to his mother, Patty. Stacey visits Byron and talks to Tom. She tries to help Tom understand what his father went through. Byron apologizes for Stacey being shot by Phil and they kiss. She returns to her mother at her apartment. In WY, Constance is visited by King Ari’s advisor Edward. Constance tells Edward about meeting Cat Ewing at the bar. She thinks about Brittany Peterson and why Brittany would hate her. Adam goes to Chad and asks him about believe Scott isn’t really Scott. Chad tells him about the tattoo on Scott’s arm that reads ‘Terry’. Adam plans to visit Kathleen who he believes knows more. Bryron admits to Tom that he will continue his involvement and work with Serenity House. Lenore enjoyed her talk with Miranda and looks forward to having her volunteer at the hospital. David and Luke begin kissing passionately, but Luke says he’s not ready and leaves. Luke feels bad about pushing Dave away. He and his father worry about his mother trying to get Riley away from Cameron. Alex meets Dave at the Matthews house and sits outside and talks to him. After Dave leaves, Alex walks out to the dock on the pond. A strange walks behind him and it turns out to be Fox Winslow. He hits Alex over the head with a Crowbar. Alex loses consciousness. Joey takes Blaine to the hospital when they find out Alex has had an accident. Sofia can’t believe she is in jail for the murder of Phil Higley. Joe and Paulina don’t think she did it. She is still upset about Raven being missing. Sean visits Kathleen who is happy that Mason O’Connell is out of jail. Sapna tells Sean that she may have been the last person to see Phil before he was murdered. After being murdered, Phil Higley is trapped inside Serenity House. No one can see him. He manages to show himself to Byron and asks him to continue his legacy at Serenity House. Ricky wakes up in the prison cell with Cheryl and she explains that it has something to do with their daughter. Ricky is shocked to learn that he, Cheryl and Scott have been ‘replaced’. Ricky prays for Scott who is near death. At dinner with Iris, Tom and Jasper get into a food fight and Iris joins in. Later in his room, Jasper borrows some of Tom’s drugs and they flirt. Rud asks Jasper to move in with him. He tries to prove his feelings to Jasper by sleeping with him. After, Rud feels like the days he prostituted himself in Chicago. Dave visits Alex in the hospital and talks to him by his bedside. Dave admits loving Alex. Cheryl - who is actually just an impostor - goes to the hospital and takes Kathleen outside for some fresh air in her wheelchair. A man pulls up in a car, shoots the guard protecting Kathleen and they take Kathleen prisoner. On his flight back from WY, where he was investigating Fox Winslow’s supposed death, Sandy thinks about his decease father, Mac Cory, and prays that his son, Alex, makes it.Alex wakes up on the other side after his accident. He meets a man in a top hat named Jake who plans to take Alex on a journey in Another World. Maggie finds out about Alex and rushed to the hospital after telling Cecile. Dave is frustrated about Alex and his father, Russ, asks him to consider going back to school to become a surgeon. Cecile heads to the hospital and plans to visit Jamie and find out about Alex. Russ suggests to Dave that he go home to rest. Morgan’s mother makes snide comments about Frankie being alive. Morgan realizes that Miranda is attracted to him. Adam arrives at the hospital to find his security guard had been shot and Kathleen was gone. Patty tells Justin that she doesn’t think Ben is the right man for him. She explains that being with Ben might be dangerous for Justin. MJ talks to Billy who admits he’s not going home and sleeping at Mary’s Place. MJ talks to Mary about taking care of Billy. MJ worries about the events that have taken place at the hospital. Justin’s parents voice their concern about the danger that follows Ben’s family. He is upset when Ben comes to get him. MJ arrives at the hospital. Adam and MJ find out about Alex. Adam tells Chad, who is there with Cecile to visit Alex, that Scott and Cheryl have been taken by impostors. Larry arrives at the hospital with Clarice. Blaine tells them that he Alex has bleeding because of his cracked skull and that he had been brought into surgery. Larry gets a call from someone who says that Alex was a warning. He blames himself. Maggie calls her husband Henry Gordon and he asks if Rud knows. Maggie says she doesn’t care about Rud because he left Alex. Henry says he will contact Rud once he knows more about Alex. Russ tells David about Alex’s emergency surgery and that he may end up with brain damage. Dave talks to god and asks for Alex not to be taken away from him. Jeanne tells Cameron that she feels guilty about not being close to Alex the last few months. The make love. MJ tells her whole family about Cheryl, Scott and Ricky being replaced and Kathleen once again missing. They are devastated. Constance’s agents plan to befriend the people in town to get information about King Ari’s whereabouts. Constance goes down to the local Saloon with her guard Dirk and winds up meeting her old friend, when she was a man named Kyle Baker, Daisy. Daisy is now unhappily married to a older rancher name, Austin Royce. Daisy doesn’t recognize Constance at first and then looks into her eyes. She tells her old friend she’s happy that she got everything she ever wanted. Lenore says Dr. Dave Gilchrist will be at the hospital all night.

Vince disciplines Billy and displays a swear jar at the restaurant that Billy has to put money in every time he swears. Billy tells a doubting Vince that he thinks Cheryl and Scott have been replaced by impostors. Dave meet Alex for breakfast and Alex tells him about Dennis saying the Rud has moved out. Dave tells Alex that maybe he isn’t Rud’s true love and that he deserves better. Dave asks Luke out on a date. Jeanne returns to Cameron and he takes her back. She tells him that Sofia has been arrested for Phil’s murder and that she said she wanted to kill him. Alex and Ralph show up at Rud’s new apartment door only to find Jasper, who has spent the night. Alex sees that it is officially over between him and Rud. Rud tries to stop Alex from leaving. Jasper tells Dennis that he did something to keep Phil Higley away from Tom. Dennis asks him if he had anything to do with Higley’s murder. Dennis visits Iris and asks her why she went to St. Tropez. Iris warns Dennis that Giorgio might be trying to cause trouble. Ben sees Alex at the coffee shop and asks Alex if he and Rud would have dinner with him and Justin. Alex tells Ben that he and Rud broke up. Ben tells Alex that he should fight for Rud, that he might not know the whole story. Ben slips to Justin’s mother, Patty, who has arrived in town, about his and Justin’s wedding. She isn’t happy at all that they kept it from her and she storms out of the apartment building.

Joe talks to Paulina about Sofia not showing for work and Dante living with Remy. Stacey talks to the woman helping her, Mrs. Kilbridge about her journey on the other side. Claudia shows up and tells Stacey not to get close with the help. Phils Higley is shot. Before he dies he has a confrontation with his wife Alyssa. He also recounts getting visited by many he has affected: Jeanne, Sofia, Tommy, and Sapna. He is visited in his bedroom by someone who shoots him directly in the heart. Dennis tells Alex about Higley’s death. He also tells him about Rud calling and wanting his own apartment. Pat talks to David about why Aunt Liz blamed him when they found Ivy dead. She gets a visit from her sponsor, Gary Sinclair, from AA. Erin Higley watches the cops around her house from outside her bedroom window. She comforts her brother Aaron. She thinks about when she found out that her father was having a fling with Sapna. She thinks about the hell he has put them through. Miranda brings Morgan cookies and he asks her out on a date. She visits Lenore and wishes Lenore had been her mother. Cheryl has someone pull a gun on her. She wakes up in a room with the real Scott. Her and Scott are shocked when their ‘look-a-likes’ appear in the room with them. Missy talks to Danny who show her a ring for his girlfriend. She doesn’t tell Ricky about Tony the Tuna yet. After hearing about Higley, Cam wishes Jeanne would come home. Sofia tells Tod and Tomas the she killed Higley. Tomas is frantic that Sofia may have killed Higley and they still don’t know where Raven is. Joey acts like he doesn’t care about Higley’s death to Olivia and thinks about when he visited him the night he died. Dennis gives Abby an apartment by Giorgio. When Billy returns to the hospital Cheryl yells at him. He thinks she’s like a different person. Dante goes to Carlinos with Amber. Levi hopes good will start happening after spending time with David and Billy coming home from the hospital.

Giorgio feels like everything is falling into place. Iris talks to Tic about keeping Giorgio away from Jasper. Cindy Blake visits Iris and talks to her about starring on ALO3. Cindy is being blackmailed to work on the Soap by Iris because of she knows that Melanie is Matt’s daughter. Ben goes shopping with Doug Miller to find a present for Kathleen and Justin. Ben and Justin plan their wedding before his parents arrive so Justin’s mother doesn’t butt in too much. Luke tells Cameron that Emily wants to sue for custody of Riley. Cameron vows that he will make Emily regret it if she tries to take Riley away from him. Stacey is recovering at him from the shooting. Jasper tells Brianna that Cindy Blake is starting on the show as a lead. Brianna gets a phone call from her father, Ted, and meets him at a motel in Somerset. He tells her everything about Iris and Chris Campbell carrying Dennis’s baby. Brianna plans to use this info to get what she wants out of Iris. In a bar in Wyoming, Rud talks to Cat about his memory loss and tell him about Sydney. Constance St. George arrives at the bar and tells Cat that she knows of his mother, Brittany. Rud gets beat on outside the bar by a man who tells him to stay away from Alex Cory – orders from Fox Winslow. He plans to use Jasper to push Alex away. Luke calls Jeanne and tells her about Emily’s plan to take Riley. She tells him about her undercover work at Serenity – the real reason why she’s broken it off with Cameron. In tears, Cameron asks her why she is doing this to them. Dante breaks it off with Aubrey so he can be with Amber. Lenore talks to Linda about Russ reading the Christmas story at the Christmas event for the children at the hospital. Lenore and Linda decide not to go there when they discuss Russ’s outfit from the Halloween party. Lenore gets frustrated about raising money for the children xmas event. Billy tells Kathleen that he has second thoughts about going to Serenity House to find his sister. Ricky is happy and tells Cheryl that Billy is coming home. Luke tells a frustrated Cameron that everything will work out. Roy Bingham calls Ricky to tell him that he has the plans for his guest house. At the Matthews house, Dave and Levi play computer games and Russ asks Dave to stay the night.

Justin has a heart to heart with Mary while working at the restaurant. Justin thinks he’s seen Anish before. Jasper gets out of jail and Dennis talks to him and Tommy about why Byron had him arrested. Dennis takes Heather on a romantic get away to Chicago and they grow closer. Millie talks about sending Tic home with Iris. Giorgio finds a letter in the secret room and vows for revenge for the wrongs done to Irene. Billy tells Kathleen that when he gets out of the hospital he plans to go to Serenity House to find his sister. Amber asks Dante to come to her house after school. Kathleen has a dream about Terry Gray, Cheryl and Ricky’s daughter’s adoptive father, looking like Scott LaSalle and trying to kill her. Kathleen tries to talk to Rick about Kit. Jasper gets Alex’s team goofing off on his cell phone video while Alex is gone. He wonders what’s going on at the Soap Opera. Sergei gets upset with little Julies impending death. Giorgio plans to do more investigating. Adam goes to Cory Publishing and meets Karen Flatt, thinking she looks familiar. Karen happens to mention she was adopted and had foster parents. Giorgio visits a farm house his mother lived at and had mentioned in her diary. He thinks about her life and how she struggled. Dante tells Miranda, his teacher, at her home that he slept with Amber, cheating on his girlfriend, Aubrey. Russ talks to Billy about his wheelchair race through the halls. Sean feels like a failure concerning his work on the state rep election in February. Sapna and Anish plan to marry on Dec. 20th.
In Wyoming, Alex and Rud make love on Rud’s birthday. Rud breaks down when he thinks he may lose Alex again. Alex goes back to Bay City. Adam finds out that there are no records on Karen Flatt. He wonders if she is up to something at Cory. Neal finds out there are some funds disappearing from some of his accounts. Stacey remembers what Mark and Megan told her from the other side about her mother Claudia being responsible. Ben is concerned about Patty, Justin’s mother, coming this month. He wonders about Kathleen’s psychological well being. Justin hopes his parents get along with Ben’s. Josie gets upset with Cameron when she finds him drunk. He realizes he needs to go on for Riley’s sake. Kenzie gets invited to a dance. Sean tells Sapna that her sham marriage plans with Anish will not work to keep Phil Higley away.
